What a weekend service! It was great to see many people come up on stage and rest in the chair of grace for a moment. It was even better to see other people get up and come prayer for them. Confessing to one another and interceding for each other- isn't that how Jesus designed it for us to begin with?
I still have a hard time accepting that grace from Jesus. Often I find myself trying to resolve something on my own without prayer and without asking for guidance from HIM.
The first person that came up to the chair was a really nice, but hurting young woman. She prayed to ask Jesus into her heart and make yesterday a new start. That was so awesome. I prayed for her then and I just took a moment to pray for her now.
Grace is so hard to explain, so hard to make tangible. We have a tough time giving grace to others because we have not fully accepted it ourselves. God's grace is so sufficient for our lives and yet we pass it by each day.
Try to rest in the chair of grace this week...for you. Then it will be easier and less daunting to give grace to someone else. Pray for clear thoughts and focus.
Love you guys!
