Today was our big test result day at the pediatric neurosurgeon office. (by the way 4 1/2 year-old Isabella loves saying that name) The doctor has cleared Luke now expects him NOT to need surgery for repairing his cranial bone development! Dr Wehby was really great. She reviewed the CT scan and showed us what was good and what was questionable. The areas that were a concern last month are now less of an issue. It appears that all the prayer has really helped little Luke. We praise God for helping us get through this process. And we can't tell you how much everyone's support has meant to our family.
Thank you all so much for your constant prayers. The power of prayer is amazing. Katherine and I are not the best 'receivers' in the world. We would rather be 'givers' to others. In this case we will just humbly say "thank you".
One of the things that has been on my heart since we left the appointment today was all the people who leave the office with a different result. We cannot forget those families and kids. I will pray for those kids more often after the experience we have been through. Please pray for those families too. We are blessed and should appreciate what we have every day.
Luke is scheduled to get his flashy new blue hearing aids next week sometime. After he gets them tested out, I'm sure he'll want to pose for a photo for you to show them off!
